TBT offers a wellness program called Healthy Lifestyles to all Non-Medicare Active and Retiree participants and their covered family members.
Healthy Lifestyles is a free and confidential part of your TBT Plan. TBT has hired HMC Companies to provide this wellness program to guide you toward a healthier life. No information will be shared with anyone.
Explore this site to find interactive videos, information on health topics and links to wellness resources. There you can subscribe to their monthly wellness newsletters.
For more information or to sign up toll-free, call 855-888-2144 or go to the Healthy Lifestyles portal. This portal helps you stay on track with your health. It provides you with all the information and resources you need to make smarter healthcare decisions.

Health coaches are available by phone or online for wellness support.
The Wellness portion offers an interactive educational program, to assist and guide you in developing healthy lifestyle choices. You and your Health Coach will work together — via email or phone — to achieve realistic collaborative goals. The skills that you learn by participating in this program can improve your overall health. You and your eligible dependents may select from these modules:
- Weight Management Support
- Nutrition and Exercise Tips
- Healthy Eating Guidance
- Stress Management
- Smoking Cessation
- Diabetes Awareness/Education
- Heart Health and Disease Prevention
Healthy Lifestyles nurses may also help covered participants and dependents with one or more of these chronic conditions:
- Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
- At-risk Cardiac
- High Blood Pressure
- High Cholesterol
- Diabetes
- Chronic Obstruction Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Asthma
- Back Pain
TBT Health Management Education
The Health Management Education portion helps you and your eligible dependents learn about your health condition. A Nurse, or Health Management Educator works with you and your doctor to help you get healthy and stay healthy. You will learn how to:
- Manage your health issue
- Avoid things that may make your health issue worse
- Set goals that you can reach
- Stay on track with your medicine
- Stick to your care plan
- Access other benefits
You and your eligible dependents can join this program if you have one or more of these health issues:
- Diabetes
- Back Pain
- Asthma
- Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- High Cholesterol (Hyperlipidemia)
- High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)
